Attract, hire, develop, and retain talent

SIC are a social enterprise that works to close the disability employment gap in the UK. By working with us, you help us to continue to support disabled and neurodivergent professionals with a range of free services including events, mentorship, and e-learning.

Founded in 2021, our small but mighty team all have lived experience of disability and neurodiversity.

Your team are your greatest resource. They’re worth investing in.

I need something bespoke

Every organisation is different, which is why we can work as facilitators, speakers, and consultants in a variety of ways.

I don’t know where to start on my journey to becoming an accessible employer

Then the SIC quiz is for you. We’ll ask you 30 yes or no questions and it’ll guide you on the best next steps.

I’d love to work with SIC, can we have a call?

Of course, we’d love to work with you too. We offer a range of services for businesses who want to better support disabled talent, from strategy days to team workshops and everything in between.

I’m disabled, neurodivergent, and/or chronically ill and I’m looking for support

We’re a social enterprise that was set up so that all the support we provide to employers helps fund free support for you. This includes free events, mentor-mentee match-making, and accessible e-learning.

Does your current equality, diversity and inclusion strategy cover disability and health? Research shows that just 4% of businesses include disability and health in their initiatives, yet nearly one in four of the working-age population are classed as disabled

The world of work has changed. Work is, in theory, more accessible than ever before. There’s never been a better time to address a major pinch point for organisations: how to be truly inclusive.

Many organisations recognise the importance of structural education in gender, sexuality, race, and religion, yet fail to address training and awareness of disability, neurodivergence, and health.

It isn’t as simple as having wheelchair access, or stating you accept disabled applicants in your recruitment process. It’s recognising what you’re doing well, and where needs improvement, to build an inclusive work culture for disabled people- which means it’s an inclusive work culture for everyone.

We bring our lived experiences as disabled, chronically ill, and neurodiverse professionals.

We partner with consultants, facilitators, and case studies to represent the different experiences and intersectionalities within disabled voices, ensuring our consulting is as diverse as possible.

Having delivered programmes and consulting to companies across the UK (and the US too), SIC focusses on developing the confidence of teams. We create a safe space for key conversations to take place.
