Levelling up the Games Industry

Nearly 1 in 4 employees in the games industry identify as neurodivergent, while 13% report a physical disability. But less than half believe the industry is committed to diversity and inclusion.

Neurodivergent and disabled talent is critical to the games industry’s success. We can help you ensure everyone feels included.

Out of all the games industry professionals interviewed…

  • 38% report either anxiety or depression (or both), compared with a national average of 17%.

  • 10% report having ADHD, compared to the national average of 4%.

  • 4% report having autism, compared to the national average of 1-2%.

It’s clear to us that the games industry needs an assist.

The disabled gamers market is growing

  • There are predicted to be 3 billion gamers worldwide by 2029. Between 20% and 30% of them have a disability.

  • Yet a huge 66% of disabled gamers experience barriers in gaming.

Improving the accessibility of games is a huge opportunity.
