Disability Bites:
The Disability Inclusion Essentials
Five essentials = one inclusive workplace.
A series of focused, 30-minute learning sessions designed for busy workplaces that want practical impact without lengthy time commitments.
Each session delivers 20 minutes of expert insight followed by 10 minutes of live Q&A, giving your team the clarity and confidence to take action straight away.
Developed in partnership with Simply Equality and SIC, these sessions can be booked individually or as a complete five-part series giving you flexibility to meet your organisation where it is, and move inclusion forward with purpose.
The Adjustments That Matter
Understand what reasonable adjustments are and how they remove barriers to performance. This session focuses on practical, effective changes that support individuals and enable teams to thrive.
The Conversations That Count
Build confidence in having open, respectful conversations about disability. Learn how to listen well, respond appropriately, and create a culture where people feel safe to share their needs.
The Bigger Picture
Explore disability through the lens of the social model, understanding how barriers in the workplace — not just individual conditions — shape people’s experiences. This session also looks at how overlapping identities can lead to multiple forms of marginalisation, and what that means for inclusion, wellbeing, and equity at work.
The Language of Inclusion
Discover how language shapes workplace culture and inclusion. Learn how to communicate with clarity and respect, avoiding common pitfalls while building confidence in what to say.
The Legal Bit
Get to grips with your responsibilities under UK law, including the Equality Act 2010. This session breaks down key concepts into clear, practical guidance you can apply with confidence.
Teams are time poor, but that doesn't mean they don't want to expand their knowledge and understanding of disability and broader EDI conversations. These sessions are bite size and therefore give you the essential information you need without the need for a full day out of the office. You could integrate these into a weekly team meeting, or as a part of your all staff quarterly conference - these sessions are deliberately designed to be flexible to work around your busy business.
